Discover high-quality stainless steel cold-drawn seamless pipes, engineered for superior strength, durability, and precision. Ideal for industrial applications, these pipes offer excellent corrosion resistance and seamless performance.
What IS Production process?
Raw material preparation: Hot-rolled finished pipes or semi-finished pipes, extruded pipes and welded pipes are usually used as raw materials.
Re-inspection: Strictly inspect the raw materials to ensure that their material, size and surface quality meet the production requirements.
Peeling: Remove defects on the surface of round steel by lathe peeling or whirlwind cutting.
Cutting: Cut the round steel into appropriate lengths according to process requirements.
Centering: Find the center point of one end of the round steel on the cross-arm drilling machine and make a sample hole, and then perform centering operations.
Heating: Use a gas-fired inclined bottom furnace or a gas-fired box furnace to heat the round steel.
Perforation: The heated round steel is perforated by the perforating unit and air compressor, and the perforated rough pipe will enter the water pool for sufficient cooling.
Pickling: Pickle the perforated rough pipe to remove the oxide scale and impurities on its surface.
Cold rolling (cold drawing): After rolling on the cold rolling mill, the size and length are adjusted through continuous cold deformation.
Degreasing: Remove the rolling mill oil attached to the inner wall and outer surface of the steel pipe during rolling.
Heat treatment: It is carried out in a natural gas solution heat treatment furnace to restore the plasticity of the material through recrystallization and reduce the deformation resistance of the metal.
Straightening: Straighten the bent rough pipe.
Pipe cutting (sizing): According to the production plan, the straightened rough pipe is cut and cut.
Finished product pickling/passivation: The steel pipe after cutting is pickled to form an oxide protective film.
Finished product inspection: It includes multiple links such as surface inspection, eddy current detection, ultra-detection, water pressure and air pressure detection.
Packaging and warehousing: After passing the inspection, it is packaged and marked with information such as specifications and production batch number.
Manufacturing process of Cold-drawn Tube
Cold rolling process: Using the cold pilger method, the tube is deformed under compressive stress, which is particularly suitable for processing high-hardness alloy materials and special stainless steel that is difficult to cold draw.
Cold drawing process: The tube blank is stretched through a die to reduce its diameter and increase its wall thickness.
Heat treatment process: Vacuum bright annealing (hydrogen annealing) is used in an oxygen-free environment, which can effectively reduce the hardness of the material, eliminate magnetism and improve corrosion resistance.
Pickling process: The process of pre-pickling with sulfuric acid solution, manual scrubbing, and H₂SO₄-HNO₃-HCl three-acid pickling is used.
Production equipment
Perforating equipment: perforating unit and air compressor.
Heat treatment equipment: natural gas solution heat treatment furnace.
Packaging method
Oil-coated packaging: prevent contamination and damage during transportation and storage.
Marking information: mark the specifications, production batch number and other information on the steel pipe.
Bundling packaging: pack the steel pipes after bundling.
Conclusion
Stainless steel cold-drawn seamless pipe is renowned for its superior strength, precision, and corrosion resistance. Ideal for demanding industrial applications, it offers durability and reliability.
